Visit our showroom in Newmarket
Our showroom at 1151 Gorham St, Unit 8, Newmarket, Ontario is where Shading Solutions by ROLLerUP keeps full-size working samples of everything we sell. It's open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, and walk-ins are welcome, though booking ahead at (289) 270-5747 means someone is free to walk the floor with you.
Inside you'll find a retractable screen mounted in a working frame so you can raise and lower it yourself, a retractable awning extended on its arms, a section of louvered pergola roof you can tilt open and closed, and a vertical screen door you can roll up and down. Next to each unit sits a rack of mesh and fabric samples in the colours and weights we actually stock, along with cut lengths of the aluminum extrusion used in the housings and tracks, so you can see the finish and weight in your hand rather than guess from a photo online.
We design, measure, sell, install and service every product line here – retractable screens, retractable awnings, louvered pergolas and retractable screen doors – all aluminum, made in Canada. If a part breaks on something you already own, bring it in; we also sell individual parts and can source almost any part for any brand, though original production lead times apply. Every job we quote from the showroom is measured on site afterward, priced in writing, and backed by a 5-year warranty in writing.
What it solves
Comparing products side by side
Photos make every screen and awning look like the same width of mesh and shade of fabric. In the showroom you can stand in front of a retractable screen, a retractable awning and a pergola louvre section on the same visit, open and close each one, and feel the weight of the aluminum housing before you pick a product for your own opening.
Builders and renovators planning an opening
If you're framing a new porch or deck and need to know clearance, header height or housing depth before you pour a footing, bring your drawings in. We can measure against the working units on the floor and tell you what each product needs structurally, before the opening is built.
Property managers comparing options for multiple units
Condo boards and property managers sourcing screens or awnings for several units at once can see the full colour and mesh range in one visit instead of ordering swatches one at a time, and talk through install scheduling across a building rather than a single home.
Parts and service, not just new installs
If a screen won't retract or an awning arm has seized, bring the part in. We sell individual components and can source almost any part for any brand we service, though lead times follow the original production schedule rather than our own stock.
Shipping across North America
We ship product across North America, including the USA, for customers who want to install themselves or have a local contractor fit it. Our own install and service visits stay in Ontario, so ask at the showroom which option fits your address before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where we install this
Newmarket sits in York Region, where winters bring real snow load and summers bring sun strong enough to fade fabric fast. That's part of why every product on our floor is aluminum rather than a material that rusts or warps after a few freeze-thaw cycles, and why our louvered pergola section carries a certified snow load rating you can ask about in person. Local bylaws in York Region municipalities also vary on how close a permanent structure like a pergola can sit to a property line, so bring your lot dimensions and we'll talk through what's buildable before you order anything.
